SIG Sauer P239
The P239 is the slim, single-stack member of the SIG Classic family — designed for plainclothes officers and concealed carry. Where the P226 and P228 use double-stack magazines, the P239's slim profile makes it disappear under a jacket while still delivering the legendary SIG accuracy.
All-metal construction in a slim package gives it surprisingly tame recoil for such a compact gun. The trigger is classic SIG — smooth, consistent, and predictable.
The P239 was specifically requested by U.S. federal agencies that needed a discreet sidearm with full-power ballistics. It saw extensive use with the Secret Service, Air Marshals, and ATF undercover units.
If the P228 is the workhorse, the P239 is the diplomat — same DNA, different role. A SIG built for moments where presence has to be felt without being seen.
