02What data we collect
We only collect the data we need. Depending on how you use the website, this can include:
- Enquiry and contact forms: your name, email address and phone number, and anything you add — company name, country, event date, number of people and your message.
- Bookings and gift cards at book.gunrange.lv: the details you enter to make a booking or a purchase.
- Usage data, only if you accept cookies: the pages you visit, how you got here, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and interactions such as clicks and scrolling.
- Technical data: whenever a website loads, the server receives your IP address, browser type and the time of the request. Our hosting provider keeps these logs briefly for security and to keep the site running.
- Spam protection: our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which checks browser and interaction data to tell people from bots.
03Why we use it and on what legal basis
We process personal data only where the GDPR gives us a legal basis:
- To answer your enquiries and prepare offers — steps taken at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- To provide booked services and keep accounting records — performing a contract and meeting legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- To protect our forms from spam and the website from abuse — our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To measure how the website is used and to show and measure our advertising — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
06Transfers outside the EU
Some of these providers are based in the United States or use servers there. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
07How long we keep it
- Enquiries and form messages: as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up, then deleted.
- Booking and payment records: as long as Latvian accounting law requires.
- Analytics data: according to the retention settings of Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, after which it is deleted automatically.
- Your cookie choice: 180 days.
08Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your data and get a copy of it;
- have inaccurate data corrected;
- have your data erased;
- restrict or object to processing, including processing based on our legitimate interest;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- withdraw your consent at any time — this does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.

If you believe we handle your data unlawfully, you can complain to the Data State Inspectorate of Latvia (Datu valsts inspekcija, www.dvi.gov.lv).
